Dr. Carolyn Doherty drew her inspiration from both of her parents.  Her mother was a professional artist and her father a physician.  Combining her artistic sense, and her desire to help people, Facial Plastic Surgery was a natural choice for Dr. Doherty.  As an artist and painter herself, her attention to detail has distinguished her from her colleagues, and her state of the art precision and eye for detail have given her the ability to bestow upon her patients a subtle enhancement to their natural beauty.

After earning a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry at UCLA, Dr. Doherty graduated from the University of Southern California Medical School with honors.  She completed her residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at LAC-USC Medical Center, and did her fellowship training in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

She opened her private practice in Beverly Hills, while maintaining academic ties with USC, teaching residents and students in the art of aesthetic surgery.  Her specialties include facelifts, rhinoplasty, brow lifting, blepharoplasty, facial implants, Botox, and injectible filler, including autologous fat transfers.

She has spoken at national and international conferences and has been featured on television as well as published in peer reviewed medical journals.  Her philanthropic efforts have taken her with Operation Restore Hope to the Philippines several times, where she has helped a team of physicians repair deformities such as cleft lips, cleft palates and the associated nasal deformities.

Jennifer has been a registered nurse since 1994 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in nursing.  She began her career at Lakes Region General Hospital on the medical/surgical unit.  After two years, she moved to the Emergency Department where she worked for nearly 12 years.  In her last three years of ER nursing, she served as the Director of Emergency Services; overseeing the Emergency Department, Fast Track and EMS.  In 2007, Jennifer became part of our team at ENT Associates of NH and Lakes Cosmetic Institute where she now administers Botox, fillers, performs laser procedures and assists Dr. Doherty with surgical procedures.  Jennifer is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.

Jodi is a licensed Aesthetician and Makeup Artist.  She graduated from Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics in 2000.  She owned her own skin care business for 9 years before joining our team at Lakes Cosmetic Institute in 2011.  She received her training in clinical skin care management from Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas and advanced makeup training with internationally renowned makeup artist, David Nicholas in Boston, Massachusetts.  Jodi is a member of The Aesthetics International Association.
